According to an article in the LA Times, the show will take the series even deeper than the podcast was able to. The executive producer of the show, Jeffrey Reiner, noted that while the podcast was told from the point of view of the investigative journalist telling the story, host Christopher Goffard, the television show will offer explore the tale from varying perspectives.

The show will star Eric Bana as master manipulator “Dirty” John Meehan and Connie Britton as Debra Newell, interior designer.

The show was picked up as a two-season series—and while the first season will cover the tale of John and Debra, the second is still undetermined.

The series will premiere on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 10/9 central.
